Booking an orientation
Dashboard > + Tour
When a family wishes to book a service orientation for their child, the simplest way is directly from the dashboard using the + Tour shortcut in the top left corner of Vacancy.care.
Alternatively, service orientations can be booked from within an individual family's profile.
Start at the families page > locate the family using the search function > clicking into the family will open the family profile pop-up window > choosing the + icon will open a drop-down menu where you can "Book a tour".
Complete the details, selecting "Orientation", the date and time, then "Add an orientation". The family will receive an email confirmation.
Due to the nature of orientations, often being a customised arrangement between the service and an individual family, orientations are booked through Vacancy.care once you’ve set a date/time with the family.
