Adding a new lead (or opportunity) in Vacancy.care
Dashboard > Families
Leads - or opportunities - are assigned to individual children. They move through the sales funnel - ideally to become enrolments.
If a parent and child is already saved in Vacancy.care and you wish to add a new lead. Start at the families page.
(*Note, if the family does not yet exist in Vacancy.care , see article Add a family in Vacancy.care).
1. From the families page, use the search bar in the far right corner to search for the family.
2. Select by clicking the child's name.
3. In the pop-up choose the + option, then Add opportunity to existing child (highlighted red below).
Alternatively, select the option that best suits.
4. Be guided to add a new opportunity (lead) to the child. Essential details are denoted with a red asterix *).
Note/ a child's care start date/days are required to proceed. If you don't know this at the initial enquiry stage, we recommend you estimate it and update the details later if needed.
