Best practices > using the my open tasks panel

Want to get the most out of Vacancy.care?
More benefits with less work...? Follow these best practice guidelines.

The My Open Tasks panel is found on the dashboard. It's a at-a-glance view of your to-do list.
Setting tasks ensures maximum organisation and the smooth running of your service. Nothing gets overlooked.
Tasks can also be set as reminders. Whether it's a phone call that needs to be returned, or family that need following-up, add it as a task, allocate a date and time and it will appear in your my open tasks panel - in date order - to be actioned.

The best practice is to check this panel daily to see your most urgent tasks. Click into any tasks to open a pop-up window offering further details.

Remember to update the status of each task as it progresses through the sales process (known as the Sales Funnel). This is achieved by clicking the status icon and selecting the updated status - Not started > In progress > Completed.

Updating the status of any task to Completed will remove it from the My Open Tasks panel, ensuring you only focus on the tasks that still need to be actioned.

Tasks that have gone beyond the assigned date and time will display in red. A prompt to assess the task and assign a new future date, or mark as completed.
