More benefits with less work...? Follow these best practice guidelines.
 
Linked to Occupancy Vacancy.care is a family portal that will save you time and effort! Families can access the portal to update their contact details, as well as add/edit children's details on your service waitlist. Encouraging your families to use the portal will remove administration tasks from your plate - and all changes are updated in Vacancy.care in real-time, so you'll be able to access the information immediately. The family portal is offered as a website plug-in. 

The family portal can be accessed in two ways - 
1/ via a link embedded on your service website (we can help with that! Just ask!)
2/ with a link sent out to your families via email. 
*Link accessed within Vacancy.care > main menu (top left) > website features > family portal

There are no limitations on how often you send this link. A family may request to update their details, or you might choose to send out at regular intervals to ensure the most up-to-date information is stored in Vacancy.care. 


**Tip - for ease of use there is no username/password required to access the portal. The email address families provide initially is what automatically connects them with the family portal.
