Creating a campaign (or marketing campaign), which targets certain families, is simple. Begin by compiling a target list of the families you wish to direct the campaign to.  It’s easy to target specific families, by creating lists based on rooms, days wanted, children’s ages or similar.

Create the list via Main menu > Campaigns > Lists > Create target list). Give the list a clear name so you can locate it easily when creating your campaign, select the names of the recipients, give the list a brief description and save it.

Marketing campaigns can be created with either email or SMS.

Create a campaign 
To create a new campaign, select the pink 
Create campaign + tab from the top-right corner of the Campaign tab. 

  • Select to either use a template, or, create a simple text email campaign. 
  • Give the campaign a clear name and assign it to a CRM user (*it will otherwise default to the primary user). 
  • Choose the target list you previously created (or choose to create a new target list here), then hit the pink next button at the bottom of the screen, to take you into the campaign creation screen.
  • If you choose the Select template option, you'll be given access to all templates saved within Vacancy.care.
  • Remember to include an email subject (this can be edited at the time of sending)
  • Word the template using the editor, then remember to hit save. The template should now be included in your list for future use!
  • Using simple text
    Creating your campaign using the simple text option is more straight-forward. Follow the first few steps, then instead of selecting a template, you'll be given access to the simple editor. Type out the email wording - add some formatting from the options provided and save.

Using a template
A selection of pre-written templates is available to you. You can choose to make use of these templates, or you have the option to create custom templates, specific to your service. From the campaign creation screen you can choose to make use of these templates. Choose from - 
Select template OR Create a new template OR Copy an existing template

Attaching files
For both new and existing email templates, choose to include an attachment or add a document. All available, with a single click, at the bottom of the editor.

*TIP/ text editors can be finicky. A good way to achieve the same look in your new template as the rest of the template collection is to first choose to edit an existing template, for the purpose of copying the entire contents - the styling, colour, font size, etc, as well as the coding. Then go back and select Create email template + and paste the contents. This way, all you'll need to do is change the wording of your new template - not create the entire look from scratch!
